Social Media That Helps Your SEO

Social media that helps your SEO

Social media doesn't directly change your Google ranking — but done right, it feeds the things that do: traffic, brand searches, and fresh content. Here's how to make your posting actually help your site.

The high-impact habits

  • Link back to your site. When you post about a service, event, or blog, include the link. That sends real visitors — and referral traffic is a positive signal.
  • Reshare your website content. New page or post on your site? Share it. It does double duty and it's easy content.
  • Keep your profiles complete and consistent — same business name, address, and phone as everywhere else online.
  • Encourage engagement. When people search your business name after seeing you socially, that "brand search" tells Google you matter.

Bonus: it doubles as content

A good social post is often a great website update too. Took a photo for Instagram? Send it to us and we'll turn it into fresh content on your site as well.
